Admission Donation
A suggested $10 minimum admission donation is being requested. For those who cannot attend, checks may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church with Iraq Auction indicated. Mail these donations to Trinity at 4746 SW 21 st Street , Topeka , KS 66604 .
Nursery Services
A free nursery is available by reservation. Please call Trinity Presbyterian Church no later that Monday, November 27 th , at 272-2620 and give the age of each child. The nursery will be open from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on the night of the event.
50/50 Card Split
This fun game starts with taking a deck of cards and cutting them in half. Half the cards will be placed aside for a drawing. The remaining half will be sold at $10 per card. Show your bid number to the 50/50 volunteer keeper of the cards, and your account will be charged an amount based upon the number of cards you wish to purchase. At 8:30 p.m. we will have a drawing. The individual who has the matching half will take home half the stash of cash, and the auction gets the other half. 52 cards can result in great odds, 1 – 52!
Raffle Items
Three different items will only be available by a raffle. Auction officials will be displaying the items and requesting $2 per ticket. Show your bid number to the raffle official displaying the item you want, and your account will be charged based on the number of tickets you purchase. Each item is raffled separately. Items will include a beautiful Christmas wreath.
General Auction Rules
Silent Auction bidding begins at 6:30 p.m. Live Auction bidding will begin at 8:00 p.m.
All items and services must be paid for in full the evening of the Auction at the Checkout Table. Personal checks or cash are the only acceptable means of payment.
The Checkout Table will open at 8:45 p.m.All items are to be taken by the successful bidder the night of the Auction. Items may be removed only by showing a “PAID” receipt from the Checkout Table to an Auction Official. In the event that an item is left and not paid for, the highest bidder has one week to secure the item or the next highest bidder will be given the opportunity to purchase the item.
All donated items are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donors.
All services must be used within the time limits specifically stated or by December 1, 2007.
CAREFULLY NOTE LIMITATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON ALL ITEMS .
When purchases are to be redeemed after the Auction, it is suggested that the bidder contact the donor within four weeks to make appropriate arrangements.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. By his or her purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against any of the sponsoring churches or the donor of the property and/or services. Neither these religious institutions nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of property or services sold. While every reasonable effort has been made to describe items correctly, all items and services are sold “where is” or “as is.” Auction items are not being sold by the donors and therefore buyers should not ask for refunds or exchanges.
Trinity Presbyterian Church is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. A tax-deductible contribution form will be available to successful auction bidders. For more specific information about current tax regulations, the purchaser should contact a professional financial planner or tax consultant. Please retain the copy of your purchase receipt.
