Your presence provides the opportunity to help the innocent people in Iraq , especially the women and children, who are suffering as a result of the war. Trinity's Peacemaking Committee has maintained close communications with Dr. Nuhad Tomeh , the Presbyterian Church USA's Liaison for Iraq through the Middle East Council of Christian Churches, and fully trusts his judgment to use funds for medical assistance where they are most needed. The proceeds from this auction will be forwarded to Dr. Tomeh for medical relief in Iraq as described above. Please join us as together we help to make a brighter future in a part of the world that has known so much hardship and grief. We're here tonight to have fun and spend some money.
