October 18, 2009 The women of the Casa Materna have this to say about our annual visits to Talpetates: "Your visit to our community each year strengthens us and motivates us to continue our efforts to develop our community. Each of your visits is a great successfor us and, we believe, for you as well, because you see the results of the work that we are doing together as the partners that we truly are."
October 11, 2009 Since 2001, members of the Latin Studies organization at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth have donated over $6,000 to the Talpetates project. 
October 4, 2009 The Casa Materna offers training in the following subjects: Violence and Disasters, Reproductive Health, Political Participation and Local Development, Conflict Resolution, Self-Help, Leadership Formation, and Domestic Violence. 
September 27, 2009 Between July, 2006 and July, 2008, the Casa Materna responded to 640 medical emergencies. 
September 20, 2009 Between July, 2006 and July, 2008, the Casa Materna provided family planning advice and services to 660 women.
